Initiated by the local Romanian community in 2011 with support from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania and the Economic and Trade Promotion Office of Romania in Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR – Ministry of Economy of Romania, the Romanian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (RoCham) sets out to represent the Romanian business community in the region and promote Romania and its diverse assets.
RoCham was officially inaugurated in December 2013 by the then Director-General of Investment Promotion – InvestHK of HKSAR Government – Simon Galpin and Consul General of Romania in Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR – Talida Goean.
